  Thallus off-white to pale fawn, smooth, dull. Ascomata numerous, scattered, with a thalline margin, straight, curved or sinuous, rarely branched, 1.0–2.5 mm long, 0.10–0.25 mm wide; lips closed. Proper exciple laterally carbonised, smooth. Hymenium 100–120 µm thick, inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, submuriform to muriform, 7–10 × 1–3-locular, 28–36 × 8–11 µm, I+ blue.
CHEMISTRY: Norstictic acid.
     
  An uncommon, corticolous species in eastern Qld and north-eastern N.S.W.; also in Tanzania, India and Borneo.
